Static Site Security Guards The first contact that your visitors have, and therefore provide, the important front of house impression. Alters Security has developed a comprehensive induction programme to ensure a courteous, friendly and efficient approach to meeting and greeting visitors. Their duties include: Ø Registering visitors on and off sites Ø Issuing temporary/permanent passes/badges Ø Conducting personnel bag and vehicle searches if need be. Ø Observing, interrogation and if need be, vetting / screening and ensures your absolute security. Specifically, as part of their duties Alters Security Staff provide a number of Value Added Services for its client base, including (but not limited to): • Stationery Deliveries/Returns • Confidential Waste Bins/Sacks • Refill Photocopiers • Conference Room Preparation • Fire Marshal Duties • Fire Extinguisher Checks • Assistance with Help Desks • Energy Saving Patrols • Building Maintenance Checks Top

Mobile Security Patrols             The idea of Mobile Patrols is to ensure that your premises are visited when you and your staff have left the building at night and any out of working hour’s times such as weekends and Public/Bank Holidays. We check the premises to see that all is well and that no floods or fires damage your premises. During our patrols we ensure that no lights are left on and no windows and Fire doors are left unsecured. We would fax to you the following working day a report of any out of the ordinary occurrences. The potential criminal will see our signboards and the presence of our van around the area thus putting them off any attempted break-ins or acts of vandalism.

Type of Service We usually carry out three (3) types of Mobile Patrols.

External Patrol Only We visit your premises and inspect the exterior of the premises checking for forced windows and doors, damaged fencing, unwanted overnight parking. Top

External Patrol and Internal Patrol As above for external visit and then enter your premises to ensure that all windows are closed and secure. All fire exit doors are secure. Check that any portable electrical equipment is switched off. Checking all toilets to ensure that all taps are turned off.

Complete Lock Down Patrol Complete Lock Down Patrol At an agreed time we would visit your premises and carry out the external and internal Patrols then lock down the premises. We can also arrange a tailor made service to your specific requirements. How do you know we have visited? We use an electronic register system. This records the time of our visit and the frequency of visits. This system is downloaded onto our main computer in the head office and we can then print off reports. The reports show the time of each visit, the officer that carried out the Patrol and any incidents found (See attached sheet 1 this also shows the buttons we use). You can ask for a report for any day or period of days to check our visits. Top

Key Holding This is an alarm response service. If your alarm activates for any reason your monitoring station will contact our Control Room. We will deploy our patrolman who will carry out both an external and internal patrol of your premises. Findings are reported to the Control Room who will follow your instructions. The next working day a report will be faxed to you informing you of all actions taken or required.

Security Training We are an accredited Training Centre with Skills for Security (SITO). We offer Security Training to SIA standards in the following: Level 2 – Security Guarding – Static & Patrol Level 2 – Security Guarding – Retail Level 2 – Door Supervision Level 2 – Communication and Conflict Management As part of our commitment to our training programme we can also offer training at week ends.
