Supervision
Alters Security will provide suitable and adequate supervision of any contract awarded through a combination of:
Ø Contracts Management input i.e. at the most senior client representative liaison level, provided by the Director and Contracts Manager. The objective of this input, which would include planned, periodic, documented contract performance and service level reviews, being to ensure that at the most senior level in the client’s organisation, complete satisfaction is achieved with our services. Ø Operational, routine, day-to-day service management i.e. through (but not exclusively) full-time Operations and Security Management, supported by central Control Officers, a 24 hour control room operation, ensuring a check call regime is in place to monitor the health, safety and welfare and timekeeping of site security and any mobile security staff and to ensure back up is available within reasonable time scales to cover emergency and short-notice staff absence situations. Ø Where appropriate and where contractually required, visits by mobile Security Officers to ensure that all is well with individual site based Security Officers and to ensure stationery, equipment, etc. is replenished and to assist in dealing with site emergency situations. Ø Where appropriate and where contractually required, a site based Security Officer may be promoted to a Site Supervisor role to manage other site Security Officers and to provide the central liaison point of contact between our office and site and between the site security team and the client’s site representatives. Ø A member of the management team will visit each site periodically to ensure that all is well with the Site Supervisor (if any) and with all Security Officers. Such visits may be deliberately random in terms of frequency and timing and each such occasion will incorporate the completion of a site inspection report which may also be completed in co-operation with the client’s site representative. Such reports may form part of the basis of performance and service level reviews and reviews of individual Security Officers.
